Cupcake by Charise Mercile Harper
Rating: 4 Rainbow Sprinkles.
Cupcake was born, he has so many brothers and sisters.
Cupcake didn't have fancy things. He was plain.
But I like plain cupcakes, they're my favorite. Well, I like any cupcakes really!
Cupcake is so sad, you know? He didn't get picked.
But Candle is his friend and he puts stuff on his head! HAHA! That's so funny.
This book really is darling, what a cute story of being yourself and accepting your friends the way they are.
And also about working together. The illustrations are very sweet and Izze loved them.
Vegan note: Cupcake was born by mixing an EGG with other ingredients. Izze caught that too. She said, "You don't need an egg to make cupcakes, that would be 'asgusting' and gross!" (agusting= disgusting)

Moon Rabbit by Natalie Russell
Rating: 3 pretty moons
"Little Rabbit in a city
she love it!
She goes sleeping in a park.
When she wake up and there was a rabbit 'just like me!'
Playing a guitar.
She danced and danced
Two rabbits, they so good friends.
One so happy...
One so sad...
(starts singing a song of the two rabbits, that is in a language only she understands)
'But Rabbit like me, he visit me again!'"
Izze: "I like when they are dancing"
I thought Izze would like this book a lot more, because she is practically obsessed with the moon, but this book really had nothing to do with the moon. It's a sweet story though.
